Full Day Horseback Wine Tour
- About 9 hours
Our full day wine tour takes us across 7 wine farms. With absolutely spectacular views and diverse countryside this is a truly magnificent outing! Reasonable riding skills are needed as you will be trotting and cantering.
On our full day horseback wine tour we ride from wine farm to wine farm, tasting wine as we go along!
Spectacular scenery is literally around every corner, and there is no better way to experience the Cape Winelands than between the ears of a horse!
We ride across 7 well known estates, including Warwick, Le Bonheur, Mitres Edge, and De Meye. We will stop for tastings at Arra Estate, before riding up the mountain to enjoy some spectacular views of the Le Bonheur and Warwick.
We will stop for a picnic lunch at Natte Valleij, where we will untack the horses and enjoy our lunch and some wine from the estates we have ridden on. Your picnic will be stuffed with locally produced bread, cheese, ham, salad, olives and sweet treats! Lunch is a fairly relaxed set up, and guests and horses get to unwind in the most magnificent scenery imaginable.
After lunch we tack up and ride back to the Pink Geranium, where we might take the horses for a swim, or have more wine.
We set off from the Pink Geranium at 9am, and usually we are back by 4pm depending on the pace.

Wonderful experience. I took my grandkids. Louise gave them an educational class on horses and allowed them to clean and brush one of the horses. 😊
Fantastic place! The horses are very kind and well-behaved, and they are not like your average “tour-horse”, they are much better! 5 stars to Louise and the sweet horses!!
Wow! What an incredible experience! Breath taking scenery, extremely well behaved horses and Louise was a wonderful guide. Loved every moment! Can't wait to come ride here again !
I love going horse riding at the Pink Geranium. Riding through the vineyards is always so peaceful. The horses are super happy and healthy!
Really enjoyed my ride here! Horses were very well trained, the views are beautiful and the guide Louise was awesome! Will definitely be returning
