Description

The northern route wine tour Stellenbosch has spectacular views of the winelands where you can see all the way to Table Mountain in the distance and enjoy the splendour of the Western Cape.

The vine hopper day ticket is the most cost effective way to experience the Stellenbosch Wine Route. You can decide on what you want to do on the different farms and pay for tastings, tours or activities as you go along.

This is a great way to still be independent and not linked to a group but having the comfort of being transported, enabling you to enjoy your tastings at your own time without worries of how you are getting home!

Itinerary

On this tour you could visit the Bergkelder with its spectacular maturation cellars below Pappegaaiberg, or have a relaxing lunch and tasting at Beyerskloof, famous for its Pinotage. Visit Simonsig with its great wine and views or Warwick, a great place for a picnic or Big 5 wine safari. Delheim will spoil you with hospitality and good wine. Marianne is the last farm on the route and a great way to end the day with a glass of wine and views to be remembered.

The tour from Stellenbosch to Franschoek was great, adventurous and fun. My tour guide Sevo Tamboer was friendly, helpful and very patient. I will definitely tour again with you guys. Adventure Shop rocks

Excellent tour service! They were very punctual and answered all my questions. Booked the transport to and game drive at Inverdoorn Reserve. Had a great time there. The following weekend I booked the Shark Cage Diving. Sadly I got sea motion sickness. My guide Colin was very considered and bought a bottle of mineral water and some mints for me.

We went for the ebike ride from Stellenbosch to franschhoek. At first glance it might appear expensive but it's actually great value. The ebikes are great. You have a stop for a drink then at the end lunch with small wine tasting included. They also provide water and a support vehicle which will follow behind en route. You start at 9am and get back about 4 pm. We had Sevo and Colin looking after us for the day, great fun. Highly recommended :-)

Bike was fine but when I arrived to rent a bike on a Saturday, it was told me that I needed to return the bike earlier because they were going to close. The service is very amateur.
